    Endocannabinoid System Function

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) plays a very important role in the human body for our survival.

Dr. Sexton provides a novel health assessment, based on endocannabinoid system function, a system that modulates pain, hunger and metabolism, sleep, stress resilience, the ability to store and recall memories or abolish negative ones, and to protect the body from chronic infection or inflammation. There are many strategies for addressing what could be considered "endocannabinoid deficiency" or excess.

    Naturopathic Medicine

    A small tagline

"Naturopathic medicine is primary health care that emphasizes prevention and the self-healing process through the use of healthy living and natural therapies, blending centuries-old knowledge and a philosophy that nature is the most effective healer with current research on health and human systems." - Bastyr University.

Through a "functional" approach, we will work together to address multiple systems to treat root causes of disease, not symptoms.

Naturopathic medicine works to stimulate the body to heal itself. This approach can help minimize or eliminate pharmaceutical medications. Dr. Sexton may also order laboratory analysis to enhance diagnosis and treatment of your medical condition.
